A hairdresser with no appointment needed? Sounds great – but you probably have questions. That’s normal. Here are the answers to everything we hear most often from women visiting our salons for the first time.
About quality
Does “no appointments” mean lower quality?
No. The way we organise work (with or without bookings) has nothing to do with the quality of the haircut.
Our hairdressers are experienced. Each of them has been trained in cutting, colouring and customer service techniques. Staff turnover is low – the same people have worked with us for years.
The only difference is in how things are organised: instead of a booking calendar we have an efficient queuing system. But the chair, the hairdresser and the quality of the service are the same as in a traditional salon.
Our salons are rated 4.7–4.8 ★ on Google on average by customers from all over Warsaw.
Why does it work? Because we don’t offer complicated four-hour treatments. We focus on what most people need: a haircut, colouring, styling – things that can be done quickly and professionally.
Who will cut my hair? Can I choose a hairdresser?
In a walk-in system you don’t pick a specific person in advance – but you can ask for the same hairdresser on your next visit if you liked them.
Our hairdressers are trained in the same techniques. If you say “just trim the ends” or “I want a side-swept fringe” – any of them will do it well.
Want to come back to the same person? Ask for their name on your first visit and mention it next time. If they are available – no problem.
What about more complex styles? Balayage, ombre, styling?
We do them.
Colouring:
- Full-head colour
- Highlights
- Toning
- Colour removal
Styling:
- Blow-dry and styling
- Curls / waves
- Straightening
- Updos (everyday and special occasion)
The only limitation: very complex treatments (e.g. lightening from black to platinum blonde, balayage, ombre / sombre) require a consultation first.
But 90% of what women need on a day-to-day basis – you can have done.
About time and queues
How long do I REALLY wait? Is “20 minutes” the whole visit or just the haircut?
We understand the question – we’ve all seen “fast!” adverts that turn out to be untrue.
Here is how it works with us:
Women’s haircut:
- Waiting time: 0–15 minutes (depending on the time of day)
- Haircut: 20–30 minutes
- Total: on average 30–45 minutes from walking in to walking out
Colouring:
- Waiting time: 0–15 minutes
- Applying the colour + processing + washing: 45–60 minutes
- Drying/styling: 15–20 minutes
- Total: about 1.5 hours
Men’s haircut:
- Waiting time: 0–10 minutes
- Haircut: 15–20 minutes
- Total: 20–30 minutes
These are real times. Of course, on a Saturday at noon there may be more people than on a Wednesday at 3 pm – but even then you rarely wait more than 20 minutes.
What if I come at the weekend? Will it be crowded?
Weekends are busier – that’s normal. But it doesn’t mean hour-long queues.
What we see:
- Friday evening (6–8 pm): medium traffic, you wait 10–15 min
- Saturday morning (9–11 am): quiet, you walk in and sit down straight away
- Saturday midday (12–3 pm): peak hours, you may wait 15–25 min
- Sunday: medium traffic, comparable to weekdays
If you don’t like waiting – come on Saturday before 11 am or after 4 pm. Or on Sunday.
Tip: we have 25 salons in Warsaw and Ząbki. If one is full, another one 2 km away may be empty.
About prices
How much does the full service really cost? Are there hidden charges?
Prices are simple and transparent. What you see on the website is what you pay.
Women’s haircut: 100 zł or 130 zł
- 100 zł – haircut without washing (if your hair is clean)
- 130 zł – wash + haircut + light blow-dry finish
No surprises at the till – you choose the option on the spot.
Men’s haircut: 80 zł
Children’s haircut: 70 zł (up to 10 years old)
Colouring:
- Root touch-up, refreshing the colour along the full length, grey coverage or simple single-colour highlights: from 160 zł
Styling:
- Styling, shoulder-length hair: 100 zł
- Styling, hair below the shoulders, curls: 150 zł
- Special-occasion updo: 200 zł
Prices are the same in every salon (city centre or residential districts) – no “surprises” at the till. Full details: price list.
Will the hairdresser ask what I want? Won’t it be a “conveyor belt”?
Yes. Every haircut starts with a short conversation.
The hairdresser will ask:
- How much do you want taken off?
- What look are you after?
- Are there any tricky areas?
Fast doesn’t mean careless. Fast means efficient, with no unnecessary waiting.
Can I pay by card or cash?
Card, cash, BLIK – whichever you prefer. All salons have payment terminals.
About family and children
Can I come with my child and both get a haircut?
Yes. It’s one of the most common scenarios.
You can:
- Have your child cut first, then yourself
- Have your own hair cut while your child sits in the play corner
- Both at the same time (if two chairs are free)
The children’s corner has toys and picture books. Your child can sit there and wait while you have your hair cut. We have children’s seats for kids up to 10 years old.
What if my child cries because they don’t like hairdressers?
We understand. Small children are often scared.
Our hairdressers are used to it. Nobody will frown if your child is grumpy. It happens. The hairdresser will do what they can to make it quick and stress-free.
Tip: if you know your child needs more time or gentleness – come at quieter times (e.g. the middle of a weekday). Then the hairdresser can give them more attention.
Can my husband come too? Or is it a “ladies only” place?
Not at all. We cut men, women and children – whole families.
Saturday 10 am is a classic sight: mum + dad + two kids, one after the other. Or at the same time, if there is room.
Nobody laughs at anyone, nobody feels out of place. These are city haircut points for everyone.
Your first visit
What happens when I come for the first time? Will I know what to do?
It’s very simple:
- You walk into the salon
- You say what you need (“a haircut”, “a haircut and colour”, etc.)
- You wait (if there is a queue) or sit down straight away
- You go to the hairdresser and say how you want it
- You pay and leave
No booking. No app to log into. Nothing to plan.
You just walk in.
Can I just ask first, without having a haircut?
Of course. You can come in, ask about prices, see what the salon looks like and leave.
Nobody forces you to decide on the spot. If you want to “check the place out” first – you’re welcome.
Hygiene and standards
How often do you disinfect your tools?
After every customer.
Scissors, combs, clippers – everything is washed and disinfected. Capes are laundered after every use.
That’s the basics. There is no “fast = no time for hygiene”. Quite the opposite: a quick turnover of customers means we have procedures that run automatically.
Locations
Where are the salons?
We have 25 salons in Warsaw and Ząbki:
- Mokotów (6 salons)
- Wola (6 salons)
- Śródmieście (2 salons)
- Wilanów (2 salons)
- Ursus (2 salons)
- Bemowo, Białołęka, Gocław, Ochota, Praga Północ, Żoliborz, Ursynów and Ząbki (1 salon each)
Outside Warsaw: Poznań (4 salons), Szczecin (5), Wrocław, Łódź, Bydgoszcz and Siedlce. Find the nearest salon on the map.
Parking? Public transport?
Most salons are on main streets or in residential estates – easy to reach by metro, bus and tram, often close to home or work.
Parking depends on the location. Check the details of the specific salon on the map.
Open on Sundays too?
Yes. All salons are open 7 days a week (Mon–Sat 9:00–21:00, Sun 10:00–19:00). Some franchise salons may have slightly different hours – check the salon page.
Last question: why should I give it a try?
Because life is too short to spend time planning a hairdresser’s appointment two weeks in advance.
If you:
- Often cancel appointments because something comes up
- Don’t like rigid schedules
- Want to “pop in on the way”, not “make a special trip”
- Are looking for a salon for the whole family
- Value your time and convenience
Then this place is for you.
Come once. See how it works. If it’s not for you – you lose nothing. But most women who came “to try it out” come back regularly.
Because it turns out a hairdresser doesn’t have to be complicated.
